SwishRouter Broadband Setup
- Plug your SwishRouter into a power outlet.
- Place the router in a suitable location, ideally near a window if signal is limited.
- Wait around 60 to 90 seconds for the router to power up and connect.
- Connect your device to the Wi-Fi network shown on the router label.
- Enter the Wi-Fi password printed on the same label.
Tips for Better Signal
- Try a higher position in the room if possible.
- Keep the router away from thick walls and large metal objects.
- Test more than one position to find the strongest signal.
- Keep the router in an open space rather than hidden in a cupboard.
VoIP Setup (Plus & Max Plans)
- Connect the Yealink DECT base station to a LAN port on your router.
- Plug in the base station power supply.
- Power on the handset.
- The phone should register automatically with no manual setup required.
- If needed, restart both the router and the phone equipment.
Troubleshooting
Internet Not Working?
- Restart the router and allow up to 90 seconds for it to reconnect.
- Move the router closer to a window or a higher position for improved signal.
- Check that the power and network indicator lights are stable.
- Try connecting a device using Ethernet if available.
- Test with more than one device to rule out a device-specific issue.
Slow or Unstable Connection?
- Restart the router and re-test the connection after it reconnects.
- Try a different router position within the property.
- Reduce the number of heavily used devices on the network during testing.
- Check performance on more than one device.
- Contact support if the issue continues after basic checks.
VoIP Not Making Calls?
- Check that the Yealink base station is securely connected to the router.
- Restart the router, base station and handset.
- Confirm that your service plan includes VoIP.
- Make sure your broadband connection is active and stable.
- Contact support if the issue continues after restarting your equipment.

Can I move the service to another address?
Service suitability can vary by location, so contact support before moving address and we can advise on availability and next steps.
Is wireless broadband suitable for home working?
It can be suitable for many home-working needs such as email, browsing and video calls, but performance depends on coverage, signal conditions, network demand and router placement.
